Rooting for Success: A Step-by-Step Guide to Rerooting Rosemary Cuttings

To reroot rosemary, you will need to take stem cuttings from an existing rosemary plant and root them in water. Here is a general process for rerooting rosemary cuttings:

1. Take stem cuttings from an existing rosemary plant that are about 3- 5 inches long and have at least one pair of leaves.

2. Remove the leaves from the bottom half of the cutting, leaving only a few leaves near the top.

3. Insert the cutting into a container filled with water. Make sure that the leaves are not buried in the water.

4. Place the rosemary container in a warm location with bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can dry out the cutting.

5. Keep the container filled with water.

6. After about 2-4 weeks, you should see new root growth on the cutting. At this point, the cutting has successfully rooted and you can move the rosemary cutting into a soil pot.

7. Continue to keep the soil pot moist until you can see the rosemary plant growing in size. Once rosemary is growing well you can keep it growing in a container or move it outdoors.

It's important to keep in mind that not all cuttings will root successfully. It depends on a lot of factors like time of year, type of plant, temperature, light and so on. You can take multiple cuttings to increase the chances of success.
