I had some leftover fresh cranberries that I did not
use during the holidays, but I wanted to preserve them to add to my baking and
mixed dried fruit snacks. To do this I decided to dehydrate them.
How
to Make Dehydrated Cranberries
1. Wash
and drain cranberries.
2. Put
into boiling water until skins rupture.
3. Drain.
4. Sprinkle
cranberries with sugar, about ¼ cup of sugar per 12 ounces of cranberries.
5. Let
sit for about 30 minutes to drain even more liquid.
6. Place
on dehydrator trays to dehydrate from 12-24 hours depending on humidity in your
area.
